Crossing Manager

This position will involve working closely with our team of dedicated professionals including Land Managers, Land Agents, and Land Administrators.

Duties would include, but are not limited to:

  • Detailed and organized individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Prepare reports for file status and related issues
  • Prepare for and attendance before various Boards and Authorities
  • Performing Land Title searches, Crown searches, and Corporate searches
  • Review drawings and identify agreements required
  • Prepare, review and request Third Party Agreements/Consents such as Crossings, Temporary Workspace, Temporary Access, and Permanent Access Crossings, Temporary and Permanent Road Use, Temporary and Permanent Approaches and Ground Disturbance required for construction
  • Road Use invoicing and tracking
  • Develop and manage detailed tracking and compiling of information for all agreements and conditions related to all Third-Party agreements such as line lists, databases or other spreadsheets and reports that could be required
  • Administer and maintain files both electronically and hard copy
  • Develop and maintain construction binders for field staff and construction crews
  • Prepare and organize third party files for transmittal to clients for final closeout
  • Ensure tasks are being completed

Minimum requirements:

  • Work experience of 10+ years
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Exposure and use of Microsoft Access and Adobe Acrobat will be beneficial
  • Experience with iLand Database System, Pandell Roads Database System, StakeTracker Database System will be beneficial
  • Experience with AbaData Mapping Software, SPIN II (Land Titles)and Electronic Disposition System
  • Not required but added value with proficiency in MyLTSA, BC online, ILRR, AMS
  • Not required but added value if hold any of these Commissioners; Commissioner for Oaths in and for Alberta, Commissioner for Oaths without the Province of Saskatchewan, Commissioner for Oaths for the Province of British Columbia
