Trans Mountain Expansion Project


The Trans Mountain Pipeline system commenced operations 60 years ago and now transports a range of crude oil and petroleum products from Western Canada to locations in central and southwestern BC, Washington State, and offshore. The TMPL system currently supplies much of the crude oil and refined products used in BC. It is operated and maintained by staff located at Trans Mountain’s regional and local offices in Alberta and BC.

The Alberta Clipper Project was a new 36 (inch), 1607 kilometre (1000 mile) pipeline that originated near Hardisty, Alberta and connected to Enbridge’s existing terminal in Superior, Wisconsin. This project followed primarily along existing pipeline rights-of-way.

Plains Midstream Rainbow Pipeline II


The RPII Project pipeline system was approximately 300 kilometers that will transport condensate, from the existing Enbridge Terminal near Edmonton, along with butane and condensate, from the proposed Plains North Edmonton Pump Station, to Plains' existing Nipisi Terminal.
